James and the giant peach

I thought James and the giant peach a great and well done movie. I read the book too. Actually a couple of times. Its an even greater book. If you can picture the what the words say in your mind. That's what makes a book great. A movie is just something that pictures books for you. Sometimes. The book of James and the giant peach tells you the best info. then the movie does. So read the book and see the movie.

That book rules.

In my experience, short novels (like Shawshank Redemption) make the best movies and the book is always better than the movie. Case in point: The Godfather. Two of the best movies ever made, but the book is still better. There is a scene in the book that illustrates the extent of Luca Brazzi's evil that doesn't appear any of the movies and quite possibly could not be adequately filmed.
