Pinball

I'm rock at pinball. At least to my Opinion. I could play pinball for a very long time. I've got about 1,000,000 on a real pinball machine. On the computer my High score is 1,580,500. The real score. The exact score. I'm proud of myself. I wish I had a pinball machine. That would be the best.

When I was a kid, of course, there were no video games. I'm talking about when I was just a little kid. My dad owned a restaurant and next door to it there was a bowling alley. We would take a bunch of quarters and go next door to the bowling alley and play pinball. That was just amazing. There were pinball machines for all the popular rock bands like Kiss and The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. You would hit a bumper and it would play a bit of music. Then, when I was about seven or eight, the first video games came out. They were like the Atari games on you home system that you and I were playing this summer. I think there's one called Space Wars that we played. I remember that game from when I was a kid. We thought it was so awesome that the action was up on a screen and not just some stupid ball rolling around. Pinball games practically disappeared. You couldn't find them anywhere for many years. Now they're starting to come back more and more. I'm glad that kids today like them. Ask you dad to play Tommy by The Who for you. It's a rock opera about a kid who loves pinball.
