Star Testing last day

Today was the last and hardest star testing day. Ugh, it was geometry. Not my best subject, if not my worst. I am great at algebra but geometry stresses me out and gives me that feeling of a knot in your stomach and neck. It makes me so stressed out. Its just ridiculous because when that happens, i pretty much forget a lot of stuff like important formulas which wasn't good for me at all. I hate getting stressed like that. I am always the last to finish. On every testing i am last. It gives me a feeling of embarrassment, but computability at the same time, because i check my answers very carefully. Today i was the second last to finish and i felt what it was like to wait to talk and hang out with your friends in the start testing class. It sucks to wait. You have to whisper so softly that you have to repeat so many things over and over. At the end of the star testing for that day, the teacher gives you a raffle ticket and you can either win a $5 Starbucks card, $10 in-n-out card, $15 i-tunes card, or a $25 visa card to use for anything which they announce on the amphitheater at lunch time. I didn't win at all! It sucked. Some of my friends did though. None of the people that i sit with at lunch though. Just "outsider" friends i guess you could call them. But Star Testing is really annoying, but maybe a relief to get over with. I will find out tomorrow then.

The Fall, again

I posted about falling off my bike before already, but it happened again. Last time i fell on a Friday because of a bee. It was also Friday when i fell (yesterday). I definitely have bad luck with mongooses. Its horrible, but at least my arms aren't hurt, or sprained or what ever. Neither are my legs, i just got scraped up a a lot! Here is how it went: I was riding my bike back from the gym and this was pretty near the gym. So i was crossing the street and thankfully i crossed it but right after, my feet i guess spun out and got caught under the pedals and i fell. When i was working out on the bike at the gym, i was thinking what if i fall off and then i won't be able to go bowling with my friends. And then it happened! I(t was ridiculous. So i pretty much fell with the bike. I could even feel myself on my side caught in the bike. It was pretty cool until the hurting started to come. The guy holding the sign advertising some company came and helped me up and asked me if i was alright and all that stuff and apparently, there were two cops at the red light and one come to help me and ask what i happened. I explained how it went and called my dad and he told my dad to come pick me up. I was grateful for that because i would have had to go through a bunch of crap and arguing for my dad to come pick me up, but he will listen to the police of course. So i got scraped and tore skin in 5 places. There was bleeding in four places, and apparently, i hit my face on the pavement because there is a bump and a bruise under my eye even though i was wearing my full faced helmet. I also ripped some skin on my left Achilles tendon. The police checked out my bike and said the chain was off. I thought that it must of came off and that's why i fell. He presented the idea of it falling off after/during the fall. I still think it fell before and that's why i spun out and got trapped on it. But, i still went bowling even though it was very hard to walk at all. I did pretty good too. I won the first game, even though i came late. I didn't get to finish the second because my dad came to pick me up earlier. The disinfectant is what hurt the most out of everything. It stung so badly! It was ridiculous. I really hope i can stop falling on bikes. Also, always wear your helmet. Also, when i was about to leave, a bee landed on the police man's jacket. its like a symbol, because last time, i fell because of a bee.

Star Testing

I do the Star Testing on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Well the whole school does except for the seniors but the Freshman don't do the history and today was History star testing. I am a freshman so i watched Ratatouille the whole star testing period pretty much. I was glad i didn't have to do it this year because i don't like History classes and tests of course. I am not very good at tests at all. All i have done so far is the science test, which was medium hard. I'm not very good at science sadly. I wish i was there because i want to go to the college Caltec. I am a computer Programmer. So so far i have only done science. They don't even let you out early which sucks but that's only because they let you out early for finals. Oh well, i can deal with it. We actually do stuff in the classes after the testing though. They are like 1 hour and 17 minutes each. On a regular block day (Wednesday, Thursday) the classes are 2 hours each. Well i guess I'll keep updating for Start Testing as it goes on.

Day of Silence

The day before the day of silence, my friend and i agreed on trying our best to do it and we did. My dad bought me a white board and marker with an eraser cap that day. During the beginning of the day, i forgot all about the day of silence and so when i woke up i was talking and i asked my dad to print something out for me and then i went to school and apparently my friends forgot because i talked to them, and then later when i found those friends again, they wouldn't reply to what i was saying and immediately, i remembered and closed my mouth and took out my white board and talked to them with that. I'm not gay or bisexual, I'm straight obviously, but i still wanted to do it and i guess according to the paper i would be considered an ally to those kinds of people. So i ordered food from the student store that day with the white board and they acted as if it was normal because its the day of silence. So for the rest of the day until Spanish, i talked. I had to talk during Spanish because we were doing a partner thing and i had no choice but to talk. In science we took notes and no one bothered me. In English i wrote "Can i have a paper clip please" to my teacher on my white board and she got me it and then announced how some people were honoring that day and she honors and i liked that. Actually in the morning i reminded two of my friends to do it and they did. In Comp. Prog1, my friend bothered me a lot about not talking and said it wasn't going to do anything. I don't know if it would do anything, although i was hoping it would, but i still did it anyway. In P.E. no one bothered me about it and i actually saw other people doing it. In Spanish, i obviously had to talk. Math was funny, because the teacher kept asking me questions like, whats your favorite color, and where did you get this white board. I had to look at her weird or shrug. It was funny. So then i saw my two friends who reminded me and they were talking away and then they actually criticized me for doing it after school. We walked to the bus stop with a bunch of other friends and they were all talking and criticizing me and it was annoying but i still didn't talk. I didn't talk for the rest of the day either. I was actually up until 12:00 that night so at 12:00 is when i talked because it was the next day: today. My brother and sister even copied me by not talking and it was great. By the end of the day, my pen for the white board was pretty much out of ink. So i did it and next time, i hopefully can do it for the whole entire day even in the morning.

Day of Silence

Today was the day of silence and silence upon all. Here it is: this will pretty much tell you what it means and then i will tell you about the day tomorrow, i mean, it is the day of silence. This was on a paper my friend gave to me.
Please understand my reasons for not speaking today. I am participating in the Day of Silence (DOS), a national youth movement bringing attention to the silence faced by by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans-gender people and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by anti-LGBT bullying, name-calling, and harassment. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward building awareness and making a commitment to address these injustices. Think about the voices you are not hearing today.

Entropy

Entropy is the decaying of things over time. Everything goes through entropy. We even go through it. Everything including the planets and stars but I'm sure electronics are more widely known for entropy probably. Especially batteries but my computer is going through entropy or it is just made wrong because it i press even on the top of my desktop computer, a CD drive opens. Same with anywhere i touch on my computer. I hate it because whenever i put in my flash drive, it opens. It is so annoying. i wish it would stop. I think it is the CD drive that my dad and i put in ourselves for light scribing CDs. That means that there is a laser in there that engraves a picture on the front of the CD. Its pretty cool but I'm thinking we might have put it in wrong. The top that closes it, the last thing that folds, so you don't see the CD drive thing, also doesn't fully close. You have to finish losing it yourself. I kind of have an OCD thing so that bothers me and i close it myself but that sometimes opens it but I've gotten so much practice that I'm good at it now. I will be surprised when it stops opening where ever i push down on the outer case of the desktop! The point is, my computer is apparently going through some serious entropy. As everything is though.

School

On the first day back from spring break, i didn't act different as i said i might, because i just didn't feel like it. I was kind of tired and i like being myself. I felt like everything was gone though, like i had forgotten everything but it came back in the last 2 periods probably. It was sort of weird being at school though. It sure didn't seem like it was the last day of school though. In science, we just started with some warm-up questions and took notes as usual. In English, we just watched the rest of Romeo and Juliet. In PE, we just walked around the black top for about one lap until it started to rain and then we went inside and did nothing, well i sorted out songs on my mp3 into my "on the go" play list. In computer programming 1, we just finished up a program we were working on. In Spanish, we took a quiz, translated the second half of our vocab, went over it, then talked a little and then went over our homework from a couple weeks ago. In Math we just took notes and worked on a worksheet which i finished. At lunch i just sat and listened to my music and talked to friends. It was pretty weird being around these friends though but i got used to it right away. That's pretty much it.

Back to school

Well, its back to school tomorrow. I don't really want to go back but of course i do get to see my friends again. It feels like I'm going back to school from a summer break, yet whenever i am at school, i feel like it is the last day of school. Its really weird. Maybe its because i know everyone pretty much. I think you feel like you know everyone on the last day of school. Anyway, my point is, it feels like a really long spring break. I wish i was at the mountain snowboarding right now though. Well, i guess not right now, right now i feel like being in the nice condo hanging out. Its really cool in the there. I really like it. I don't know why, but i sort of liked shoveling some snow. Probably because its different. That's probably why i liked splitting would with the ax thing. I forgot what it was called, but on one side, it had the flat hammer part, and on the other, it had the sharper side which you use to split the logs. When i go back to school, I'm going to try to act like a whole new person and my friends will be like what the heck! I think it will be funny to be someone different and then see their reaction. I don't know if i will be able to, it will be very hard, but ill try.

Soccer Game

I just got home from my soccer game and everyone was tired. Especially me. Mostly because i went to bed really late. I guess a lot of people were out of whack that game because we didn't have practice all week and we didn't even have a game last Saturday because of the the Easter break. We did win though. I think the score was 4 - 3. We obviously got 4 goals and they got 3. I think that was the score. A couple of our players weren't there so we didn't have any subs. The coach didn't have a line up ready so he just told us where to play and we did that and it was pretty much the same positions the whole game. The goalie changed every quarter and when it did, the people that were in goal just got told to find an open spot or just the middle and go for the ball. They were pretty confused. I didn't play goal so i was left defense for the first half and right defense for the second half. It was kind of stupid, i don't really like defense. But i wouldn't rather be a goalie. I would play anything besides defense and goalie. So forward and mid field would be my preferences. But, i am usually defense. I wonder why though. I guess maybe its because i never complain. Well we won the game. So that's good.

Easter

For Easter, i didn't get to do anything. I was actually grounded the whole day. I had to spend pretty much the whole day on my bed. It was ridiculous. My brother and sister and their friend went egg hunting and ate a whole bunch of candy and i only got like three eggs because my dad brought me them when i was in my room laying on my bed doing nothing. I even packed the plastic eggs with candy to hunt for but i got in trouble some how and the eggs brought to me were half empty. One had jelly beans, the other had Hershey's kisses, and the other had probably more jellybeans. I dumped all of the candy out of the eggs and fit it all in one egg. I only got 1 egg worth of candy! Plus my siblings got to paint eggs and i didn't. There were dollar bills stuck in some of the eggs that my sister found, but i don't really care much for dollar bills. When i finally got to get off my bed which was near the end of the day, i still had to do all my chores like i regularly do. I don't even remember doing anything after all of my chores were done. It sucked but why did the one day i was grounded have to be Easter!

Mammoth Trip - Everything

In the last post, i didn't go further into the family that invited us which was the same as last time. This time the family brought everyone except the bigger brother, who didn't come last time, because of work. But the husband, wife, little brother, sister, other sister, wife's sister, and a bunch of other people came. The condo was pretty much full. The little brother's sister left before we came though. The little brother's friend's or cousins, i never knew, also came. So there were too many for me too count. I had to sleep on the couch. My brother slept on the pull out bed upstairs. The little brother slept upstairs on the bed. My dad, mom, and sister slept in the room downstairs. Actually my sister had to sleep on the floor and my mom and dad slept on the bed. The cousins slept in there own room. They had a baby, 2 little girls, a husband, and wife, and a big girl. So that room was full. Then the main family slept in their own room downstairs which consisted of the husband and wife. The main family's son's cousins and everything had their own condo. The next day, they came over and ate with us. The bigger cousin snowboarded with me even though he could have done pretty much everything on the mountain while i only could go on the smaller easiest slopes. He was giving me pointers and all that. We found his brother and went to take a little break in the lodge. Then after that me and the bigger brother went to visit my sister and brother while they were eating in the ski school. After that, we went to the ski lift and went down a couple of times. This is the point in the middle of the slope when i got the call to come eat lunch. So on my way down, i saw my brother, who i wanted to snowboard with, but i had to go eat, so we ate and met up at the lodge. After lunch, my dad went with the main family's husband and wife. The little cousin went with the main family's son. My mom and the cousin's mom went home. The cousin's dad went with the two little girls to teach them a little. The two little girls are actually 3 and 4. I don't know where the bigger girl cousin went. The bigger cousin stayed with me again. So we went down a couple times again and i got better and then i had to go to the bathroom and i was thirsty so the bigger cousin went on his own on some of the bigger slopes. So i after the bathroom break for me, i went to look for my siblings but couldn't find them so i waited in he power in the middle of the slope away from the ski and snowboarding traffic. I waited for a long time too. I never found them so then i came down and saw the main family dad. He told me my dad was waiting for me. So i went over there and while we were waiting he got a call from mom saying that my siblings wanted to show him what they learned and this was my time to board with them and actually everyone. So i waited at the top of the lift with my brother and everyone came and i started to go down and stopped pretty soon. I waiting there with the little cousin while my dad was taking pictures and then they all finally came down and about halfway, my dad stopped my brother, sister, and myself so he could take a picture of us and we finally got together and he got the picture. So after that, we left the mountain. The cousins all went home. Then we went home, ate, spent the night, ate at the stove the next day and went home.

Mammoth Trip - My family's side

We went to Mammoth mountain again for our snowboarding/skiing trip. Except this time we brought the whole family. Including my mom, dad, brother, sister, and myself. It was such a hassle and it was ridiculous getting packed up. The back of the truck had almost no room. We tried bringing all of our blankets and everything, it was just ridiculous. My dad had to take out pillows and blankets so we would have room for the snowboard and skis that we were going to rent at the sports chalet. I hated the board they gave me. I sucked. I'm sure the boots would have sucked and i probably wouldn't have been able to tie them up tight enough if i hadn't forgotten them at the condo. We had to rent them at the mountain lodge. We are extremists so we packed like we were staying for a week and we were only staying 3 days. First day was for getting settled and hanging out. And we got there when the mountain closed anyway. Second day was for snowboarding/skiing. My brother and i snowboarded. My dad and sister skied. My brother and sister went into the ski school and i snowboarded on my own. This time my mom bought me snowboarding pants. So i wore the spandex and the boarding pants. She also got me boarding socks so i wore those too. I wore the one pair, then spandex, then the boarding pants, then a white undershirt, then a long sleeve shirt, then my regular jacket, and then the snow Bruins jacket. It was really hot up there. My mom got my brother and sister almost full snow suits and my dad too. The family that invited us lent us a lot of snow stuff. They are so generous and great to be around. So i still went on the beginner easy runs but next time i will go on the harder ones. At about 12:30, my dad called but i was still on the run and he told us to come and eat lunch so i came and we ate and went back. We left when the mountain closed and spent the night at the condo. The next day which is today, we got up and went to The Stove which is a restaurant and i got chocolate chip pancakes which were great. Then we left and here i am.

The fall

Friday on my way back from the gym, i fell off my bike. The reason is so ridiculous and kind of embarrassing. Now this will obviously give you clue. I hate bees. I don't even know if I'm allergic to them because one time i got stung but the stinger didn't even go into me because i saw the bee on the floor next to me when i was stretching to get ready to run but this happened a very long time ago, like years ago when i was much smaller. Before the run my dad told me to run as if a bee was chasing me and now that i think of it, i think that that was a hilarious and perfect thing to say at that moment. But on my back about halfway to my house, a bee hit my arm and freaked me out a little so i started to wobble to get it off and then i didn't notice my bike was wobbling and i tried to pedal a lot harder and i guess the wheel was turned while i tried to pedal so i fell and thank god had a full faced BMX helmet because i definitely heard the ground hit my helmet . The top of my eye through the face part of the helmet hit the edge of the curb and scraped it. What hurt the most though was my arm. I didn't break it but i know i did something to it because it hurt really bad to move it. A bunch of people in cars drove next to me to ask if i was all rite and i said yeah to get them to leave me alone because i was trying to call my dad to tell him to pick me up and he did come eventually. He told me to lock my bike up at the post office because he couldn't fit my bike in his car. My mom came to pick it up later on. But before my dad came while i was waiting, my knee started to hurt because my shorts we scraping a part of it and i pulled my shorts up and noticed my knee was all bloody and apparently there were two big gashes in there with blood oozing out on top of the gashes. It wasn't dripping though, it just stayed on the wound. By the time my dad came, it was dark with blood. So he took me home and then cleaned it up which hurt the most. He was torturing me with it too like patting it down and everything. It was just ridiculous. He did that yesterday i think too. Also on Saturday he still made me go to the gym! Even though i couldn't use my arm. My arm still hurts. It only really hurts when it is outstretched. I can squeeze my hand into a fist when i bend my elbow and put my arm against my chest, but when it is outstretched. I'm pretty sure what hurts is the flexing part. My mom told me it was my muscle that was hurt. I have strong bones because i drink a lot of milk so I'm glad for that. Everything still hurts but its getting better, i can feel it. I'm also leaving to go snowboarding right now, hopefully i don't break my arm. I will definitely deal with the pain if it hurts though because snowboarding is awesome. Its the best.

Pulp Fiction

I saw Pulp Fiction in the movie theater on with my dad and it started a 10:00pm and ended at about 12:30! So we were obviously up really late. I have to say that this movie was so awesomely great and hilarious. This movie is a comedy about killing. It started out with people robbing a restaurant. The movie jumps around a lot but it is really easy to follow so don't worry about that. The main thing about the movie is getting a suitcase the crime or gang leader and there are clues to what is in the suitcase. I know because i looked it up but maybe you can find out. I wanted to actually see with my own eyes what was in there because everyone was dazzled when they saw it and whatever is inside glows. The movie is pretty violent and the language is really strong. There is a lot of cursing in the movie. I wanted to see it again the day after which was yesterday because it was only playing in the movies for two days. The reason the movie theater plays old movies is because it became a 3 dollar theater after the new theater came into town. The new theater has Imax and 3D and awesome stadium seats unlike the 3 dollar theater but it is still good. It plays the movies that were new in case you missed them. Like when the New Theater stops playing the newer movies, the 3 dollar theater gets them. Its pretty awesome and so was Pulp Fiction.

iPhone apps

My friend's have iPhones but i don't and i love the apps they have but i can't play them unless they let me but i want to have access to them all the time without having an iPhone. I thought of two ways to do this. First, since my dad has an android phone, maybe you can get some of the games for the iPhone on there, but i have found none like that. So then next was online, i found line rider and I'm pretty sure that's it but i really want apple to make the apps on the iPhone, available online! That would be so awesome. And what you might ask is, "Then whats the point of having an iTouch, or iPhone for the games purpose?", well, you can't carry your computer around everywhere you go and your monitor is most likely not touch screen so it wouldn't be as good but it would still be really cool to have them available online. And online for free hopefully. I'm not going to pay for a game to download like WoW or anything like that.

Spring Break

Spring break is here and especially for the teachers. They are super ready. We practically watched a movie in every class yesterday. In the first period (science) we watched Aliens in the Attic and in sixth period (geometry) we watched a movie called Stand and Deliver and it was ind of a coincidence because the main guy who is the teacher named Kemo in the movie but the actor died the day before we watched the movie. But that just shows the teachers are getting ready early for the break and they are excited for it too. Whenever we go on break, our science teacher tells us not to email him and even tells us not to study, probably as a joke because he cracks so many jokes, but you could tell he was tired and definitely ready for the break. You could tell that in my science teacher. Even in my Spanish teacher! You could tell because she said something accidental and cracked up laughing so hard and the class was laughing only because of how hard she was laughing, but she was laughing for almost no reason which pretty hit me as tiresome. I'm sure if you were there you would agree. I really don't know about the P.E. teachers but I'm sure they were ready too. I sure as heck know I'm ready. Let it come!

Music Videos

I really don't know if every song has a music video or not but I'm pretty sure i haven't come across any. I haven't done any research on it but i probably will, who knows. If i wanted to be a serious full time musician though, and make a lot of my own songs and remixes and covers and all that, i would have to make a music video for it but every single song! I bet people put so much into the videos and special effects and everything. It is like a 4-5 minute movie. Some music videos are really awesome though. You could also think of it as an excuse to go somewhere people aren't really aloud to go but since you are famous or making a serious video, you would be able to go to the place and dance there and film and everything. I think it would be an awesome experience. I really don't know if being famous would be cool though because then people would make up random rumors about you and lies and gossip, but i guess it would be priority as a famous person to ignore all that and continue your life knowing that there are so many fans and people that love, admire, and are jealous of you and want to be you. But then you would have a bunch of reporters and fans crowding you and you know what i mean. But i really don't know a song that doesn't have a music video. If you know, please post a comment telling me if there is a song that doesn't have a music video because I'm sure there is.

Almost Famous

I saw this movie last night. So i saw two movies in one day. My dad was going to watch it a long time ago without me but it was about a writer and i am good at writing, so i have heard, and the writer is writing about a made up band called Still Water. He goes on a tour with them and there are band aids which are the girls that travel with them and the main one is a blond curly haired girl who is in love with the guitarist of the band and the writer is in love with the main band aid. The movie is hilarious too. But the writer's mom is way over protective of her son and when he goes away she tells him to call her twice a day everyday and she always tells him not to do drugs and she is just a lunatic. Whoever she talks too besides her son, when they get off the phone with her, they say that she scared them. The kid was writing for the band Creem, and then for The Rolling Stone. He acts like he is an adult and everything gets way out of proportion and its just a great movie. I really recommend it. I don't remember any nudity but I'm sure there was cursing.

Hot Tub Time Machine

I saw this movie today and it was hilarious. Everyone in the audience was laughing pretty much at all the jokes at the same time but i sure(as my dad said) didn't get some of the 80's reference jokes. I don't remember a time though, when i wasn't laughing and everyone else was. The movie is rated R, and definitely for a reason. Well there is a lot of cursing in the movie but also a lot of nudity and sex and drugs. Well i guess everything is in there. I was hanging out at my friend's house so we went to see it and yes, we checked with my dad but we knew he would let me see anything anyways. I covered my friend's eyes at some sex parts to be funny and he didn't make any movements to get my arm off, he tried to cover mine but i eventually got tired and let him watch the rest. It was funny. Everything about that movie was hilarious. It has the black dude from The Office who works in the basement in The Office. I don't know his name but he is hilarious. You have to see it. Trust me, and I'm sure anyone who has seen it recommends it too.

Boredom in classes

The two most boring classes that i have a chance to do something other than the work that we haven't gotten yet are in Math and PE. For the past couple of days i have brought cards to school and played go fish in math with my friend. Then it evolved into Spoons which evolved into B.S. It evolved twice yesterday. From go fish to spoons to B.S. We haven't been doing anything really in that class because the new quarter is about to start so we play cards. Its really fun. The teacher was just grading stuff and the other part of the class was watching a movie yesterday and today we just played and other people just talked. It was awesome. In P.E. the free time i have in there is to play Frisbee and listen to my mp3. I wouldn't dare bring out my full deck of cards out in P.E. because i know the type of friends in that class would mess around and bend the cards and mess with them to be funny and it would suck because i would probably lose some cards but the people in math i trust. That's what i have been doing with the boredom of my classes.

Shirt woot

There is a website called woot.com that sells things over the Internet very cheaply. My dad has bought stuff for me and himself. There is also a website called shirt.woot.com that sells shirts for a reasonable price and they are designed shirts that go through a shirt derby thing that they do and a bunch of people design and enter their shirt designs into the derby and people vote for them and the top 3 get into the selling and I'm not sure about this but if you see an awesome shirt that doesn't make it into the top 3, i think you can buy it off of the maker. But whenever i go on there i see the most awesome shirts ever and there is this link on the side labeled The Reckoning and i think its all of the 1st place shirts. There are about 3 of them that i looked up today that i really want my dad to get me. Here are the links to see them. Shirt1, Shirt2, Shirt3. They are just great. I don't even know which one is my favorite, i just want them all. I'm sure my friend's would love the Jelly Donut one. Post a comment on your favorite shirt because I'm interested on what you think. Also go to this website and look into it, it updates with new stuff everyday and woot offs go on for who knows long and they just update to a new product every time the product sells out. There is this thing which is almost impossible to get because everyone wants it and its called Random Crap. You can anywhere from pencils and erasers to huge flat screen TVs and XBOX 360's and anything. Its crazy.

Sunday at Mammoth

I only talked about the Saturday of the Mammoth weekend and now i will talk about the Sunday. Sunday was the best. The day went like this. I woke up and sat at the table upstairs with almost everyone, there was one friend still sleeping. I came to actually eat breakfast but apparently we didn't then. Instead we played cards. We actually played Texas hold 'em but we didn't have chips but we had a large bowl of pistachios so we used those. The guy on the left of me was talking about his past experiences of losing at poker and eventually he won the whole thing. We got tired of that so my dad dealt two cards to each of us and told us to put up one and he did that after the betting round and everything until we each had 5 cards with 4 turned up. I had already lost all my pistachios in Texas hold 'em and so did the guy next to me so we played but betting with the pistachios in the bowl. It was weird and the guy to the left of me still won. Then my dad told me to get dressed and told me we weren't going snowboarding because the adults didn't want to and the main guy had a fractured rib. So we went back and we started to play rummy and the two kids said alright lets go skiing and snowboarding and that got my hopes up a little and eventually we went down there and signed me up for snowboarding lessons at 12:45 until 4:00 which is when the mountain closes. We also rented the snowboard and boots and that's pretty much all we rented and we brought it back to the condo. We left the other two kids there and my dad and his friends went to eat. So we arrived at a restaurant and ordered drinks and then my dad was telling the main guy how we could get much better food and a fancier place and they were debating on leaving or not and then we left and they hadn't even served the drinks yet. We ate at a much potentially better place, we didn't really know because we didn't eat at the other place but this place had the best pancakes i had ever had in my life. They were awesome so it was most likely better than the other place. I was starting to get worried about not making it to the lesson on time but we did. We went to the condo to get the snowboard and gear and everything for me. We arrived down there and the instructor inspected what i was wearing. I was wearing two pairs of cotton socks which apparently feels and acts like sandpaper when its wet so i was supposed to get snowboarding socks. I was wearing Reebok spandex pants which were okay. Blue Jeans which weren't, and baggy blue waterproof pants which could have been less baggy. All that was tucked into the boot and it wasn't supposed to be tucked in there and he fit his hand inside the boot which he explained to me as being way to loose so he tightened it up and i was okay there. I was wearing a red turtle neck shirt, then a red long sleeve shirt, then my regular jacket, then a snowboard jacket. There wasn't anything wrong with that. Then i had my beanie with my really dark glasses under it. No helmet of snowboard goggles. Everyone else had dressed normally though. I was wearing the craziest stuff i guess. Oh well. So we started with getting up after we attached our boots to the snowboard and stopping on our heels. It was easy for me. I caught on the quickest because i just loved it. Then we learned how to turn. Everything was easy. People were falling and couldn't get up though. It was hard to walk back up the little slope we were on because of the thin air. It got really hot so i took off my snow jacket but it kept flying off the fence so i put it under the instructor's board because he was helping other people and not using his board. Eventually we went on the ski lift for awhile and we didn't even get strapped in or anything. What if we fell! I didn't though. No one did to my knowledge. I went down the slope the fastest and i turned the board to go fast and i tried to stop too fast so i fell really hard on my tailbone and lied there in pain for awhile. Then i got back up and went down and i was waiting for the rest of the group and i didn't see them at all so i went back to the lift and went down and saw the instructor with the group in the middle of the mountain and apparently we were supposed to stop there to learn something new but when he was talking about flags before we went down, i thought he was just saying not to go past them as in not falling off the cliff. So the group was learning something new which was snowboarding on your toes and stopping like that so pretty much going backwards. It was crazy and i didn't try. I was a little relieved though because i think i would have fallen a lot more but i might have gotten it quick. By then we went back to the meeting spot and we were done so i left to go back to the lift and snowboarded the mountain again and then my dad came and as i was nearing the bottom i turned the board to go fast and then stopped going really fast and the board caught snow and i fell straight onto my face like a big old smack! It was kinda cool. I went down the mountain again and then we left. We saw one of the group members in the learning session and he told my dad that i learned super quick and better than any one. We then returned everything and went on the road and apparently the people we were with had already left and packed up while we were snowboarding so we hit the road. My dad realized as we passed the restaurant that we left to go to the other one that he left his camera there So he sent me to get it so i tried opening the door and then banging on it and it didn't open and no one came. I tried the back door and heard music back there and saw lights on but no one came. My dad then called the place and they said they had it and that they weer open. I tried the front door again and it actually opened. I was mad that they didn't open it in the first place so they gave us the camera and we left. We got home by about 10:30 which was great. That's the Sunday. Hope you enjoyed the burden of reading my longest post yet. By the way, the snowboarding was probably the best thing ever and it was definitely the highlight of the day.

Mammoth Mountain

For the whole weekend my dad and i got invited to Mammoth so go skiing and snowboarding with some friends. I wanted to go snowboarding rather than skiing so Sunday i did but the mountain closed when we got there on Saturday. When we went to diner, the main friend who invited everyone bought the most expensive wine at type place we went to eat at which 'm pretty sure was Wine Creek. He bought a $300 wine called Opus one! I don't think it was exactly $300 but it sure was pretty damn close to it. It smelt wonderful apparently and my dad took it home with him. The condo was awesome. It was practically 3 stories! The main friend's worker let him rent it for half price. The owner rents his condo out to people and so he makes money off of it and also gets to use it as a vacationing place if he ever wants to go skiing or snowboarding or whatever he does. That was pretty much Saturday because the drive which took about 5 hours was most of the day. Before everything, we had to go to my brother's and Sister's wrestling tournament.

Chango Bars

I'm not sure if that's how you spell it but I'm pretty sure it is. My sister found a recipe for chango bars which is some kind of fluffy bread with nuts and chocolate chips in it. Its alright. It fills you up right after you just ate a lot of dinner. She found it in a book she was reading for school called jalapeno bagels. It sounds pretty weird but the i think i saw some other recipes in there. I really don't have much to say about the chango bars except that they are fluffy bread with nuts and chocolate chips in them.

Ipods

I do not have an Ipod although i wish i had an iphone or itouch because that would be awesome. I have a sansa that is good though. I think i would rather have a Zune if i couldn't have an itouch. But my problem with other people having them is that they always have them in their ear and then you are trying to talk to them but they don't hear you and then they start to say what a lot and that bothers me a little. What really bothers me is that when they see you coming they take out an ear bud but I'm not planning on speaking to them. Then later i think of something small to say and say it which causes them to take out an ear bud and then be reluctant to put it back in. I just feel like it bothers them and i don't like that so i usually have to restrain saying those small things. Also on the bus, which is my reading time. People always have their music so high everyone can hear it, but i usually am able to go deep into my book. I am reading Messenger which is awesome just like The Giver, and Gathering Blue which i intend to write about. I also sometimes look their way but not directly at them and they take out their ear bud and say what. I have to say i didn't say anything. Then they are reluctant to put it back in and in my head i am just thinking just put it back in already! It could have something to do with my minimal amount of OCD which i think is actually getting to be greater. But some of my friends just put it back in right after i talk to them. That also bothers me. OH well. There really isn't anything i can do about it. If you have a similar or same incident, post a comment about it. I would like to hear about it.

Facebook

On these big topics like facebook, i am always thinking that people like you reading this expect me to say something courageous, or fancy, or great but I'm just going to say my thoughts. Just a note. I have a facebook and i love it. I never had a myspace because i didn't want to have to go through all the trouble and work to customize it and make it look cool and everything and i also heard myspace is dying anyways and facebook is the awesome thing now and i made a facebook before it got popular and i pretty much love the games. If you click on my profile, it will be all game updates, actually just mafia wars and farmville. I love farmville, its so addicting. I don't know how its fun because its very repetitive but its fun. I like to go into chats with friends sometimes. I think its kind of funny that people have chats on their wall or comments on photos or anything like that. I think its much faster and convenient to just go into a chat. Although i thought myself a hypocrite because i think its actually kind of fun to let people see your chats. I think I've only done that once with my friend about school during math class and i told her to just go into a chat and we did. But the conversation we had was long. This is how the conversation started: I found a turtle in farmville so i put it up for adoption and my friend commented saying "i have a turtle" and then we got into this weird conversation of inside jokes and all that. It was funny. I wanted that turtle too! I guess you can't adopt the animals you find. Too bad. But i have always wanted to start a group that will get millions of fans so i have been semi-talking to my friend's about it. That's pretty much my goal on facebook: to start an epic group. I sometimes update my status. Some people update it like twitter, like my dad but he doesn't have a twitter. Its crazy. He's always on facebook. Even on his phone. He used to tell me to update facebook in the car. Its crazy. I can go on and on about facebook, but i think I'll just end it here. Maybe some other time i can elaborate more on the topic of facebook.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES)

I have a SNES and i just love it. My dad can download the games from for the SNES on his phone because he has a SNES app. Its kind of weird to play on his phone though because of the small screen and the buttons are flat and the controls are hard to press at once because your thumb will press a lot of controls while trying to just press two at the same time but i managed for awhile and then got tired of it because i kept dying. So i found ours because i new we had one and i couldn't figure out how to plug it into our component box and make it work but then i just decided to try to plug it into an empty slot in the TV (which i think is 42"). It worked then, sound and everything and it was on the input AV1. I have two controllers for it and i think the one with the dog bite in it works the best (surprisingly) so i just used that one. I didn't try the other one yet but i will today hopefully. So it was hard to get far on the phone but on the SNES, i got far so fast. I practically beat the levels i played without dying once. The games i could find though were, Super Mario Bros, Star Wars, and i think Killing Instinct which i haven't heard of and I'm not sure if that's what it says because the tag was over it and i think i saw ki...ng...inst...t. I'm pretty sure it said killing instinct though. Maybe i will become the only person to own one of those and make a lot of money by selling it. That would be awesome.

The Blind Side

I saw the Blind side with my mom yesterday and it was so touching if you know what i mean. I don't cry during movies ever but i feel the emotion i just don't cry. I could tell that my mom was crying because of how much emotion was with this movie. So i asked her after the movie and she said yeah, a lot. I bet a bunch of other people cried too but the movie was just full of everything: emotion, action, and comedy. The whole theater would laugh at a lot of the stuff in the movie. It was awesome. The main character's name is Big Mike but his really name is just Michael. He has no home and has an IQ of i think 60. He did very poorly in everything accept protective skills which he got a 98% in. It's rated PG13 and i didn't really see anything too bad in there. I just loved it and the movie had some action. I love how the other main character who takes care of Big Mike talks and how she handles things. She can see through lies and doesn't take no for an answer and definitely knows how to take care of business. Apparently the movie is based on true facts and at the end of the movie it tells you some interesting facts about the real people in real life and shows you actual pictures of them. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone. I would definitely see it again and hope i do. I probably will.

Karma Police

I just started to learn this song Karma Police by Radiohead today. I'm only on the second line and I'm playing it with my brother. I just love it. The song is great and hearing myself play it is also awesome. Also let me note that i don't have a piano teacher so no lessons. I used to take lessons but i can't remember the last lesson i had. So that means my dad printed the song out for me and told me it had some great piano in it as well as guitar and he said one of his friend's (probably from facebook) recommended the song. Many many people know i play the piano and my dad posted me playing on his facebook page and he probably has 120 friends exactly. I just checked. Wow i have more friends than him. Anyway during the song, or the first two lines, i kept pulling songs out of the sound of the song. I pulled out only a couple that i remember and those were Knights of Cydonia, and Cold as ice. Of course i had to change some notes around a little but it turned out to be parts of those. I thought that was interesting and cool but then i would start to play those and drift off of Karma Police which i wanted to play. But It's just a great song. My brother is really good at it too.

Cory Doctorow

Cory Doctorow apparently wrote a new book. The book that i heave read of his are "Down and out in the Magic Kingdom", and "Little Brother" and they were both awesome. So he is now giving away 200 copies of his new book "For the Win"or FTW. All i had to do or you have to do if you want the book, and i do recommend his books, is email this address torpublicity@tor.com and you might actually be able to win. If i were you though, i would read his other two books that i posted here and see if you like what he writes because my dad and i definitely do. Here is the link to the information about what to email and say in the email and all that good stuff. http://www.boingboing.net/2010/03/11/200-free-copies-of-m-1.html. If you want to try to win the book, then go ahead and email the info. I doubt that you'll get it though because its only 200 people and I'm sure by now 200 people have heard of it and emailed him already and I'd be very lucky to win it. Also to win the book, you have to promise to write about it in you blog which i promised to do since i would do that anyways there's no trouble in that for me. Also the 200 people that get it, get it for free and before it comes out. Heck, ill even blog about getting it.

geometry

Frign geometry. I hate it. I almost capitalized the g in geometry except i rethought and corrected myself because i think that lowly of geometry. The chapter I'm on is impossible. Today the teacher in the back of the class asked out loud if anyone finished the homework and no one raised their hand and the like 2 people did. Its just hard. I asked the teacher if we could skip this chapter but of course she just laughed. I was really being serious about it too. Its impossible and they should only teach us what we are going to use in our later on jobs but we aren't going to use any of that in our jobs unless of course you are planning on being a geometry teacher but I'm sure that none of us in the classroom are. Maybe our teacher is just not good at her job. But i think she is i just can't seem to understand it. I get frustrated and give up and then tears start to roll down my cheeks and i get all hot and get up and walk around and start to bump into stuff and then fall to the ground and grunt and then go in my bed and read and that calms me down and then i can't do anymore frign geometry for the rest of the day. I have always been bad at geometry and hated it. Its just ridiculous. I don't even think we should take geometry. I was much better at all the algebra courses that i took in middle school. I got straight A's in middle school. Why can't i do it now. Because it actually counts for something now, not just your parents being proud of you, of course that would happen but you will a have a good life if you set your mind to it. I really need some help with geometry because the teacher doesn't have enough time on her hands to help me the whole time. Whenever i do geometry, i feel stupid.

Shamrock Shake

The Shamrock shake which is the best shake are made at McDonalds. Just like everything that tastes good but is bad for you. But i am Irish. Gotta have the shamrock shake. We pretty much get it every year. Except this time i bought it with my own money. Worth it though as it always is. It is green and its like ice cream when its almost all frozen except its impossible to eat in the cup because if you get the chance to freeze it it will most likely be all frozen at the bottom. By the way, I'm drinking/eating one right now. Its frozen so its hard to eat/drink. Its like heaven. Green of course though, not white and fluffy or however heaven is supposed to look like. To cover it all, its a green minty heaven in a cup.

Flying

This morning at 11:00 my brother and i went flying in an airplane. Not like an airport airplane but a small one. It was at the Santa Paula airport and a car show was going on as well. They had some pretty sweet cars, but the plane in the picture isn't the exact one we went in, but it looks like it. It was white and the pilot owned the airplane and said he flew about 100 hours every year. He said he flew it as much as he could and he has actually been in a crash before. He named it Lola. So we would refer to the plane as she. We would say has she ever crashed or something like that. He would say ya and i had to put a new propeller on her and whatever she wants she gets. He said that she likes to fly in the cool weather. It was cool when we flew. My dad told me we were going to fly the airplane and we did it was awesome. My brother got to sit in the passenger seat though. I wanted to and we couldn't switch seats because he said it was too small and complicated so i had to steer kneeling behind his chair which was pretty uncomfortable but i was glad i still got to fly it. Another kid from a different family joined us apparently and this kid was annoying. The pilot gave us headsets to talk to each other through and to protect our ears from the loud engine. So the kid every half a minute or so would say whhhoaaa. In a sort of a whisper. Not a loud WWHOOOAA! That would just drive me crazy. Buy in a sort of quiet but annoying tone. This kid was a little chubby and young. He was also too scared to fly the plane! That was just ridiculous. So then later on the pilot asked us if we wanted to go in 2 G's which is double gravity which would make our double our wait and we all said yeah, cool. So we did and that was cool. Then he asked us if we wanted to go in 0 G's! And he explained how when he held his pen up it would float like in space but he wasn't perfect at it so it would go back. So then my brother and i said yeah while the other kid said no because he didn't want to drive it. So we explained to him how he wasn't going fly it the pilot was and he kept on with his argument and then maybe a little later after explaining to him that he wasn't going to fly it he finally gave in and started to take his seat belt off and i had to keep telling him that the pilot was going to fly and he said OK and still didn't know what was going on but then he went in zero G's and let his pen go and it floated for awhile and then went in the back like he said. It was pretty cool. Probably the best part of the ride and then we landed. In the beginning before we lifted off, i had to push the wing to turn it and he pulled from the other side, and that plane was SO light. It was super easy to push the wing. I was so surprised. When we landed we got our certificates for flying in the plane apparently. And then we went home. That was so great and i definitely hope to do it again next year.

Soccer Game

I had a soccer game today and we kicked serious @$$! They didn't even score once! One of their teammates always practices with us because apparently his team sucks and i guess no one notices. He's really good too. He's a god dribbler and fast. But of course that's because he practices with us. He was the one on the other team shooting the whole time but our goalies blocked 'em all. It was raining really hard throughout the whole game and when it was done, it got all sunny. Its OK though because i like the rain. I made some really good passes and the best was when i was running to the ball and the kid that practices was too from the left of me and i got there first and i kicked it straight to the kid on our team and i tripped over the kid who practices with us but i knew we scored because it was a perfect pass and as i predicted we did. It was just awesome. Another time i dribbled past this one guy and then through another kid's legs perfectly to a teammate but i don't think we scored right then. It was an awesome game. I started out as defence and told the girl that was next to me to cover the right which was her position and she did and it was a good call because the ball came straight there and she kicked it away from out goal. I was proud of everyone one. We won the game like 10 to 0.

Blue Car Syndrome

Apparently the blue car syndrome is when you buy a blue car, you start to notice them all over the place. Before you bought the blue car, you didn't notice them and really didn't care if they were blue. But that sort of thing happens to people all the time. I know it did to me. Today even, maybe. So this morning i had a science test that was really vital for me to get an A on since i didn't even have my science book for 2 weeks or so and i couldn't study that so i used my friend's book but that obviously wasn't enough. I needed it for the whole time. But she needed it at some point of course. So i studied as much as i could. So this morning while i was waiting for the bus, i got bored and decided to pray mostly for the joy of being ironic. Praying for a Science test is pretty ironic. I'm not even religious. Well i guess i really haven't chosen yet. But it was probably my first time praying on my own. So then later on after the second class i had, i found a silver ring with a cross on it and a flower in the middle. I was sort of freaked out. I told my dad about it later and he said it was creepy and then said Blue Car Syndrome and told me to look it up. I did, but didn't really realize how this related to that. I like to pick stuff off of the ground, but i wasn't noticing anything really religious. I just happened to pick up this ring off the floor that had a cross on it. It is pretty creepy though. I hope it means i got an A on the test though.

Customizing shoes

I love shoes. I always look at peoples shoes and sometimes judge them by their shoes. I found two companies that you can customize shoes on, Nike, and Vans. I learned about Vans first and then heard about Nike but never checked it out until today. I think Nike's is much more advanced but a lot more expensive. I customized a shoe on Vans and it costs $60 bucks. With Nike it costs $110! That's a lot of money to pay for a shoe. I also found these shoes with my friends in prog1 class called Vans Chukka Fleece shoes they are Vans shoes with fuzziness inside! Right when we found them we kinda started to fight. My friends were like to each other and me, if you get those shoes, I'm gonna kill you. They were obviously not being serious... hopefully. But i really want those shoes so badly. I'm pretty much dying over them. The website with them has been left on my computer for like a day because i just put my computer to sleep. I guess I'm just too lazy to save it to a download file or something. OH well. I even put a picture of them on my flash drive which i use for school. I think i am obsessing over them. Plus i think they are sold out.

The Game

For those of you who don't know the game. You are now a part of it. If you think of the game, then you lose. Since i am writing this, it pretty much means i lost today. It is almost impossible to not think about the game. Also all of you just lost. I want The Game T-shirt. The green one. I put in a picture so i should be good on that. It is a mental game. To win, all you have to do is forget the game even exists. Almost impossible for em since my two friends always try to make each other lost by saying "The Game". So i pretty much lose everyday except for weekends because i think about what i am going to do on the weekend instead of the game. The goal of whoever made the game was to spread it out throughout the whole planet pretty much which would be awesome. Its like a mind virus. It spreads very easily. Because once you know about it, you lose for every time you think about it and you can't forget about it because pretty much every time you here something about a game, you immediately think about The Game and lose. So good luck with The Game.

Songs stuck in your head

Don't you just hate when songs get stuck in my head. My dad told me that when songs get stuck in your head then do math. I replied, I'd rather have the song stuck in my head. I thought that was pretty funny to say and it was true. But even if its a good song that is stuck in your head, it gets annoying after a short period of time. I usually try to sing the song and end it to get it out of my head. I'm pretty sure it works. I can't remember. I think i did it today but that is probably because i like to sing. When I'm alone of course. I also talk to myself before i sing. I don't know why though. I like to hear myself sing. But i have multiple songs stuck in my head probably because i just got out of the car and listened to a couple songs. I like to a song with two different parts to it like a background singer singing at the same time as the main singer but they are singing different words or lines or whatever you want to call them. I like it because i think its pretty cool that i can multi task in my head because i can't sing two parts out loud of course. I would be amazed if anyone could. My god i hope you know what I'm trying to explain.

GROW game

There is this game called GROW. Its a very clever game. Its crazy what people can think of and its super fun to see what happens too. There are different games too. Like GROW 1,2,3, etc. I once bumped into the game a long time ago by accident. I guess i did again and wanted to share it with everyone! The company the made it is EYEZMAZE. They are just awesome. The things that you grow level up as the game goes along and you have to be able to do the right combination to master all the level ups so they are all leveled up all the way. That is almost impossible. I have only done that in one and it was awesome. Here see for yourself. http://www.eyezmaze.com/

Halo 3

I love to play this game when i playing multi player, probably because i kick every one's a$$. Yesterday i was playing with my brother and dad. My brother is okay, and my dad is... well, lets just say not so good. I told he sucked while we were playing. I won every round. I love ramming into my dad with any of the machines. It just so hilarious. But yesterday he was getting sort of mad. He started to say that he didn't like the game and me and my brother were just cracking up so hard. It was so hilarious. I kept killing him over, and over, and over again. He was always in last place. He was saying stuff like "How come i shoot at you like crazy and you just come and elbow me and that kills me!!!" I was laughing so hard and my brother and i would just tell him because we were shooting at him too and then elbowed him so that weakens him a lot. He would just say "Well i shooting the crap out of you both!!!. Just more laughs. I'm pretty sure he laughed in there. He wants to play again tonight. He says hes going to play everyday and practice and then kick our a$$e$. I think its funny. He knows i am the best out of everyone in my house.

Science

I lost my science book! I think it was about a week ago and i looked throughout my whole house, my friend's house, and i even called the the bus transit that i take and they said that they haven't had a science book turned it and so i think its gone forever. But i am borrowing my friend's book for the weekend because apparently she says she likes the do the work the last day so the information stays in her head for the test. We hand in our homework on the day of the test. So she does it the day before. I was very skeptical and still are. I asked her what she had in that class and she said a C or D. I was like, wow its definitely not working but she wasn't going to take it home anyways so i might as well borrow it since i am in need of one. I study all the time and always finish my homework, the only problem i have is turning it in. But i am getting some science done with this borrowed book. I really don't have any choice. I looked everywhere for my book. I went up to the office, which had a lost and found. I also went to the library but they didn't have it. I really to fix all these problems i have though.

Soccer Practice

I have always loved soccer and i have tried out a lot of sports, well the common ones. Like baseball, and football and i liked and was best at soccer and apparently i am better than i thought i was. I was up against the coach's son in a game we played and everyone got out except for us and i tired him out good and he also tired me out good. We supposed to shoot goals on each other and if you miss on the shot then you go in the goal, if you make the shot, you go back in line, if you get your shot block then you go in the goal. If you get scored on twice then you are out and you have too collect balls for the coach to roll to us. Its a really run and tiring game. But apparently I'm really good at it. I almost won the whole thing but he made it on me because i was SO tired. We were going for a long time after the practice was done, maybe 10-15 minutes but i love the game. We ill probably scrimmage next time or we will play the same game or he might introduce a new game to us. Last practice we just scrimmaged. It was fun. I can't wait until next practice because i just love soccer.

Sick

Apparently I'm sort of getting a cold. I had a sore throat about 2 days ago and i thought it would go away and then it happened the next day and today i have been having coughing fits. I usually never ever get sick at all. I think my best friend got me sick because i hang out with her all the time and apparently shes been telling me that she sneezes on me a lot and that's true and i guess she was sick. But i just really really hope i don't get so sick that i cant go to school because i cannot miss even one day of high school because then it will be close to impossible to catch up. But i definitely can't go to the gym today because i usually go everyday. Maybe that's good because maybe i do need to lay off the gym fer some time. I hope i don't miss soccer because there are a couple really cute girls apparently. Apparently the teams had to get split into Co Ed teams which are just mixed genders obviously but we weren't expecting that at all. It will be different. But i will probably get more into that on probably Thursday because that's when i have soccer practice.

Clocks

My brother and i play the song Clocks by Coldplay. He plays the guitar and i play the piano. All we really need is the drums to complete it but none of us play the drums. My sister plays the violin and my dad and mom don't have time to learn anything obviously. I sing the song because i have never sung a song in front of people and i thought i might as well start. Plus i kind of don't like my brothers singing because he has a super high voice. It just annoys me so badly. I sometimes get a headache from just talking to him. It sucks. i can;t wait until his voice gets a lot lower. The reason i wrote about this is because my brother just now came into my room and asked me to play it with him. So then i was like, hey, i can write about it. I get pleasure from writing these posts and it gives other people pleasure to read them. I like way the words come up on the screen as i type and also the sound it makes when i hit the keys. Its sort of the same with writing with a pen or pencil and paper. But i am going to go downstairs right now and play clocks!

Supernatural

There is this TV show called Supernatural and its crazy! Its about a school which has a ghost that possesses nerds and people who get picked on and messes around with the bullies. I first saw it at the gym when i was riding the bike there and it just looked super attracting and i really want to watch the whole series now. The first death was when a bully called a girl and ugly fat pig. The scene then changes to the bathroom and the bully was crying and the girl was just standing right there behind her and she said "So you think i'm ugly?". The bully then says no i'm sorry in a whining sort of a tone and then the bully turns around and the possessed girl grabs her neck and shoves it into the window and she is bleeding and then the possessed girl throws her into the stall and close it and gives the bully a swirly and then she drowns and dies. Then you see some thick black liquid just pour from her eyes. The next thing i saw was when a bully asked a nerd to give him some math homework so he wouldn't have to do it and then the nerd refuses and says some really mean stuff to the bully and he gets mad. This is all probably either in a cooking class or science class because there is a blender on right in front of them. The nerd then asks him a question and he says yes and the nerd smiles and takes his hand very quickly and shoves it straight into the blender and there is blood spurting everywhere and the bully is screaming obviously and a girl comes and helps him and everyone just vacates the room. An investigator then goes back and sees the nerd fall to the ground. The nerd then is conscious again and asks what happened and the investigator sees the same thick black liquid pour out of the nerd's ear. Hope you liked the story and if you'd like you can look it up on youtube.

Right of light

There is a band called Right of light and my friend is in the band. She is actually in my Geometry class and my she is apparently the most awesomest singer ever. She's great and she gets really into the songs and i just aw her in her band for the first time tonight. It was at a mother son dance thing for Hollow Hills and i helped out. It was for a bunch of 1st-6th graders and she told me that she just loved to do concerts with the little kids because they are super fun and get into it and dance and they are just a lot of fun she said. She kept giving High-Fives to everyone. I thought it was funny. They were selling T-Shirts too. A lot of people bought some. My dad even bought one for me. I was glad. I was going to ask him to get one after they were done. So a kid bought a T-Shirt and while he was dancing, he threw off his shirt so he was shirtless and i started to crack up and then put on his Right Of Light Shirt. I thought that kid was going to Rock Out without a shirt one. It was hilarious. The band also had a pumped up clear beach ball thing that had their stickers on it and a glow stick and they threw it out and kids were going crazy over the thing. They were hitting each other too. It was so funny. I was laughing so much. One times this kid hit the ball and it hit the kid in the face right in front of him. I LaUgHeD SO hard. It was just hilarious. But this band is so great.

Reading/Books

I am reading The Outsiders and it is a really good book. I was talking to my dad about how people like to read and i said i hate reading i just like the content of the books, i realized how can that make sense. I've been trying to make it make sense. I just can't figure it out. What i was thinking though is that reading takes up time for other more fun things that i could do but when i am bored or in trouble and can't do anything except read, that is my choice and i kind of get hooked on it. Its just weird to not like to read yet love what you are reading. I think i like every book i have read. I really can't think of one that i didn't like. Usually if i don't like a book i stop reading it. I don't remember doing that with any book. I'm pretty sure that i have decided that The Giver is my favorite book. I don't really know how to explain it without explaining the book. Its just that the whole story and plot was awesome and there were so many secrets and crazy things going on. I just loved it. I don't know, maybe i do like to read. I know i like to read the best when I'm bored or have nothing to do.

GTA IV

GTA IV as you know is Grand Theft Auto 4 is a really fun and addicting game. I only know it to be for the Xbox 360 and i played it almost all weekend. I got pretty far i guess. There is a lot of talk about sex and drugs and a lot of inappropriate stuff. There are some funny parts though. Before every mission there is a little story to it. It has great graphics which is awesome because it is pretty important to me that the graphics are good. Or great or in this case awesome. On the disk apparently there is another game called the lost and the damned and i guess the lost is a gang. I don't know about the damned though. I know the lost is a gang because in the GTA IV i had to kill that gang. They are a biker gang. I didn't really do anything on the other game because i just wanted to play GTA instead of the other game. Maybe when i beat GTA i will play the lost and the damned. But i can't really talk much about the game because of the inappropriateness.

Xbox 360

Over the weekend, last weekend i think we all went to visit my uncle and soon-to-be aunt. We were visiting for my uncle's birthday which was on Ground Hog day. So we went there and spent the night and a whole day almost and has a PS3 and an Xbox 360. Well he used to have one but we will get to that. So the day we got there my brother remembered playing a game called full auto on the Xbox and he loved it and so he asked my uncle if he could play it. So we went upstairs to play and we pressed the power button and guess what, it had the Red Ring of Death. Its pretty much a red circle flashing around your Xbox power button. It means its broken. So he said he hasn't played it in a very long time so he gave it to us. I was SO happy because i have sort of always wanted a 360. So we took it home and i hoped that it had warranty on it still but we haven't tried taking it in to get a new one or fix it or anything like that. So i looked on YouTube to see how to fix it and this guy said you have to wrap a towel around it and leave it on for about 20 minutes to overheat it. He said in a comment on the video that he wrapped a couple more to make it extra toasty. I was very sceptical about that. Overheating it? Sounds bad doesn't it. So i tried it while my friend was over. I only wrapped one around it and left it for maybe 40-50 minutes because i was playing a game with my friend and his dad and pretty much our family. So then when we were done i went to check it. So i checked it and the red light was still flashing. So i turned it off and on and the light wasn't flashing anymore! I showed my dad and he was wide-eyed and his jaw was hanging like a surprised sort of a look. I was so happy and he told me to turn it off because we apparently weren't gonna play it then. So my friend's left and my dad and I put in Halo 3. Also let me remind you hat my uncle had the Xbox pretty much when it came out or a little bit after. So he had some really good games but he didn't have much games. The three that i was interested in: Halo 3, Grand theft auto IV(4), and full auto. So we put in in hoping it would work and it did. We just had to figure out how to play multi player so my dad found the Halo 3 book and found out and i kicked his butt in pretty much every round we played. Which was t2 or 3. He killed me in a round twice and that's probably about it because i won every round. But after we were done playing we went to put the game away and found GTA IV! He had the same look as when i fixed the Xbox. I was also very happy. So that's about it and everything works. I only played the games i was interested in though. But GTA was so very addicting. I played it almost all day yesterday.

The Hangover

I saw the Hangover a couple nights ago i think and i heard lots of good stuff about it. I even got hit in the face with a hat by my friend for not having seen it before. It was more like a playful hit than a hurtful one. But then i watched and i really thought it was overrated. Yeah, it was funny and a good movie and i usually love all movies but i don't know about this one. It was good but not wonderful. The credits when they show you the pictures of what happened was funny. Actually maybe that i am rethinking the movie, i think i like it better than i thought. But still not as much as my friends say. It was hilarious though. There was a lot of the most random stuff in there. I wanted to know the chicken's story. How did the chicken get in there? Maybe they stole that from Mike Tyson too. Who knows. I thought the baby was hilarious too.

Homework

I get lots and lots of homework. I didn't do so well last semester because i procrastinated a lot and that hurt me some but this semester i promised to be on top of everything. And i am and i am getting much more homework than last semester and if i were to procrastinate still then i would be so behind this semester. but i think i have a lot more free time than last semester. I finished Spanish, and science homework today and Spanish is due Tuesday and science is due Friday! That means the only science that ill have to do is on Wednesday because we usually get a lab to do and write up on that day because each class is 2 hours. But i get so much Math homework. I still have a page of Math and i finished a page of it today too. Nothing in English. We rarely get anything in that class for homework.

rubber band ball

Sp i have always wanted to make a rubber band ball out of just rubber bands. Other people make them around a ball and i think that is like cheating. So yesterday i bout 2 bags of 85 rubber bands each and they were only 50 cents each!!! I thought that was pretty cheap. So i already used up one bag of them and i started it by knotting a couple of them together and its a fairly regular size i guess i could say. I definitely want it bigger though so i am going to have to use the other bag up on the ball too. Maybe ill leave some for myself though because i like rubber bands. So i don't know what else i can say on the point of a rubber band ball.

Age of empires

So there is this really old game called age of empires and i used to play it a lot and then my brother started to play pretty recently and i remembered how i used to love the game so now i started to play it yesterday and i guess got pretty into it. Its just such a fun game. Its really old though but still fun. I wanted to play my brother because i know that it is 2 players and we couldn't get it going so we asked our dad to fix it and it took a VERY long time but he did it. I don't know how because i started to think that it was impossible to play it with me because i have a more powerful computer than the both of them. But he finally got it started which was crazy. So then we started to play but i had to press pause and when i did my computer said that the game has stopped working and then i had to press close which just closed the whole program and i was kicking my dads butt and i was gone from the game but i was still killing my dad just not controlling anything. I thought it was hilarious. You pretty much make guys and build stuff and you have to upgrade your town and get more powerful people to kill the enemy. So yeah. That's all i really have to say about it.

flash drives

So i have been looking a lot for flash drives of all kinds particularly cheap 2GB ones for my comp apps class and i searched types of animals. I searched squirrels, pandas, Dino's, domos, spiders, all kinds but they were kinda too much for me. So then i came across a grenade flash drive! Now its $20 apparently and that's not cheap but i really want that flash drive. SO badly. It looks so cool. It comes in orange, black, white, and blue! It even has a key chain ring and i wanted a flash drive like that. So i think i might have to work a deal with my dad. I'm 99% sure that he wont do anything to help me get i though. So i think i might have to do this all by myself or just ask my mom to pitch in some money. The thing is with my dad is that he had one and gave it to me but i wanted my own that looked cool that had a key chain and now Ive found it. The one he gave me didn't have a key chain or anything. So well have to see.

TAP class

So TAP isn't the dancing class its like a school required class only on block days. Its sort of like a homeroom except in the middle of the day. It basically tells you the rules and announcements which are in a news channel sort of a format on the TV. But today we got a valentines bubble in sheet to see who we were compatible with. I felt like it was work so i decided to put the most ridiculous answers and put my name as THE ZOHAN just to be funny. I thought it was pretty funny. One question went something like this: What do you do when you forgot your homework an i put Run down the halls screaming. That was a choice! It was ridiculous but i wonder who THE ZOHAN is compatible with. Anyways i think you have buy a sheet printout and the last question asked you if you were going o buy one and i put No. So we'll see.

Today

Today was pretty boring. It is a block day so we have periods 2,4, and 6 for 2 hours. I started my classes with Science and that was actually sort of fun because i have a lot of friends in that class and i even finished my lab and talked with my friends and made jokes and all that stuff. Then i had 2 hours of comp prog. 1. (computer programming 1) That's was a nightmare of boring. It was SO boring. All we did was watch two History informal movies about the Internet and computers and it was just killing me and my friends so then i just started to read my book. I got through a lot too. I tried to watch the movies but it was just too painfully boring. I couldn't take it. I just decided to read. I actually got through 30 or 40 pages too. I almost to page 100. I moving through the book at a good fast rate. The book is called Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry. I read the giver and it might have been my favorite book and that was also by her. So after comp. prog.1 i had my TAP class for like 15 or 20 minutes and then went to lunch. Then there was Geometry where i got a crap load of work. Easy but times consuming work. The work we are doing is square roots and ratios. Mostly dividing. Super easy stuff. I had to finish 4 math assignments today. She just likes to rain work upon us. Its so annoying and i don't like it. Also my friend drew on my face with blue ink and told me i was turning into an Avatar. I thought that was funny but i didn't really think she was writing on me. But somewhere deep down i knew she was and let her. But then i asked people if there was writing they mostly said no. Then i asked the teacher if had anything on my face mostly to be funny because i didn't think there was anything there and then she asked me who drew on my face and of course i had to tell her who it was. Plus i could tell she knew it was the girl sitting behind me because i always talk to her. Shes like my best friend. Then she moved her to the front right hand corner next to the sink. It got kind of lonely. I told her to just sit where she was originally sitting on Friday because we don't have that class tomorrow. Tomorrow is the 3,5, and 7 period block days. So then i asked my teacher if i could go to the bathroom and wash it off and she said to finish my warm up and then i could go. I thought that was pure ridiculousness. Yes that's a word. So i got down to 2 more problems left and then she said to the class to put it away because we were taking notes. So now i have to take notes and then i could go. So i did and went and looked into the mirror. It wasn't really that bad and i guess that's why the class hadn't really laughed. I was sort of confused why there wasn't much laughing going on. On my right side cheek there was a graph paper sort of shape and on the left, blue vain looking shapes. And then i found some on my nose! I don''t even remember her writing on my nose but apparently she did. So i washed it off and went back to class. And then all the rest of the stuff was just normal non important stuff that happened in my day. So that's how my day went. Phew! I didn't know i could write that much about a 3 period block day. It's crazy. I didn't reread this like most of my posts that i write so there might be a ton of mistakes.

2nd Semester

So i got an A on my science and English final. :) That's awesome. But i got a B on my Geometry final. That's not good. I wish i had gotten an A but that final was specifically hard for some unknown reason to me. The only reason i got an A on my English final was because she threw out 15 questions. She said she only threw out the questions that 10 or people got wrong and i got a lot of those wrong. So I got saved there. I still don't know what i got for my Spanish final. Lets cross our fingers i did good though. You never really know because last time i got my hopes up super high and was extremely confident that i got an A on a science test it turned out to be a C. That is horrible. But i am glad i did good in science and English. The only class that moved for me was comp. apps. because i had obviously completed that class last semester along with everyone else. I am in comp. prog.1 and i have a lot of friends in that class too so i am very glad. The teacher looks pretty cool too. The problem for my P.E. class though is a bunch of cool people that i hung out with transferred out but some of my friends stayed and complained about them leaving. I also complained though. But that's all i really have to say on that point. So ill get back to you on my Spanish final if i remember because i usually don't remember stuff well until it is sort of too late.

Milkquarius

So there is this weird show i guess on YouTube called milkquarius and i guess a guy named White Gold has the best milk or something and a bunch of schools had a contest to make recreate an episode and the first place winner gets $20,000 toward the school and 2nd place gets $10,000 and the top ten get $2,500. The show is just ridiculous and milkquarius has a guitar filled with milk that he shoots bad people with. There is a bunch of music as well. But I'm in the drama club at school and the main person i guess made an episode for our school for his senior project and won first place! I just now found out and my dad and i burst out in excitement and happiness so i have to congratulate my drama club friend. If you want to see it type into YouTube milkquarius sshs and its starts with a guy riding a cow. Its weird and funny.

New Semester

So last semester for me was pretty bad. Mostly the second quarter though because i didn't hand in a bunch of stuff. But I'm pretty sure finals went really good so that good make my grades better than the previous quarter. But apparently since its the new semester my dad told me to clean my room so i id. Then he comes in and pulls out my metal file thing and goes through everything with e and i thought it wasn't so bad but he started to just throw away crap and i really didn't like the idea of my dad throwing away everything that i had. So i got really pissed off so then that was done i thought it was all over. It wasn't. He took my backpack and then pretty much threw away everything in there and that when i got super pissed because i needed a lot of papers in there. Then he started to throw away my clothes and some shoes and pants and that REALLY set me off. I got SO pissed that i apparently kicked an indent into my wall. I was pretty much crying the angriest tears of my life because i love my clothes and especially my shoes. He pretty much raided my whole room. He even changed where my desk is to where my bed was and now its on separate sides of my room but my room looks very surprisingly clean. I worried that I'm going to need a bunch of stuff though and then not know where it is because its either in the trash or anywhere in the house pretty much! The whole day was crazy. He pretty much moved every single thing in my room. There is a lot more room here though. Its weird. But very clean. I don't know how he could put up with e the whole day but usually I'm angry for a very short period of time after hes done making me mad. I stopped being mad pretty much right when he was done with everything because i knew there wasn't anything else to throw away or change. So that day was pretty much what i thought at that time the worse day of life. I don't know about that now but it was a pretty bad day.

Everybpdy hates my Spanish teacher

So since the procrastination thing, i screwed everything up. In Spanish, my teacher yelled at me for "lying" to her. I didn't think i was lying to her. She hates me and she is a total B word. I just really dislike her very much. I don't want to really put my real attitude about her because there would be a lot of cussing on here. Probably more cussing about her than real words. Gosh, i just really hate her. She does things for other people that she wouldn't do for me. No one likes her either. She should get fired. She gives me such a bad score on pretty much all of my project scores. So i have to make up for that in tests but i have screwed up tests before too. Everyone knows that she hates me the most out of everyone. I really want to know why though. I mean yeah i kinda of put a bad impression in the beginning of school by apparently making people laugh a lot but she doesn't have to hold a fu**ing grudge forever on me. I don't even have a chance to be good because she is always picking on me for everything. Its not fair. I also definitely hope she isn't reading this. I doubt she is, but if she is, then I'm dead because she might actually figure out who it is.

Procrastination

This time, procrastination has affected me great deal. So i procrastinated my Cornell note project thing for English which was To Kill a Mockingbird. I was supposed to write a short summary of each chapter and then answer about 4-5 questions on each chapter. Well i only got to ch. 8. My friend even told me she stayed up until 2:00 doing the Cornell notes but i just thought i cud finish it. i am a rally huge procrastinator but it usually works out for me. Obviously not this time. I have actually been procrastinating another thing for English which is another even huger project called a Creative literature project. This is due Thursday. I have had these both since before Winter Break! I never even worked on it a bit during those times. The Cornell notes were due Friday but she gave us an extension for today but i started the notes yesterday. Yeah, not smart. The Creative Literature project requires 3 parts. 1. written component. You have to write i think 3 paragraphs about how your project relates to the story you chose. 2. Project component, choose a project out of about 100 choices, some are making a film, crossword puzzle, poem, song, timeline, all kinds of stuff. 3. Presentation component, if you have a film, insert disk or tape and watch, play, obviously act it out in front of the class. I chose my project today! Yeah and its due in 3 days! I picked a crossword puzzle. Ive made word searches online but never a crossword which is what I've wanted to do before an now i can do it for a project! I actually started it at 5:00 and finished it at 7:00. You had to do 20 up and 20 down which means 40 questions and Answers(Q and A)!!! It was actually fun. I haven't started the written component yet and for the presentation, all you do is make like 30 copies and give one to each person in your class and then grade them after they finish. That's a lot of grading! But OH well. SO this has definitely taught me not to procrastinate!!!.

Back to School

So now I'm back to school. it seems like nothing really changed except my geometry teacher is stricter now and she cut her hair. I definitely didn't think she needed to cut her hair even SHORTER than it was. But now its just ridiculously short. Some of my friends dyed their hair a different color. But i was expecting this day to be like leisurely back to school day and then get back to doing work the next. Well for the most part it was. We talked about our break almost he whole time in English and in Spanish we were sort of talking about it but we did work in that class. In geometry, it was strait to doing work as well as in science. Except i only got homework in geometry. After maybe the second period, it started to feel like i never eve had a break. Like i went the day before and everyday and had no break. So it is sort of a new fresh start, but i feel like i never left. So yeah, that's what back to school is like.

School

School is starting up again tomorrow. Well for me it is. My friend actually starts i think either near the end of this week or sometime next week. He is lucky. I don't think i really want to go back to school yet. I don't want to have to think so hard like before. But it had to start again sometime, right? So i guess that means today i have to set up my backpack for school with all of my school supplies. Get my head in a school/work sort of a gear. You know, like in elementary school how they used to tell you to get your thinking caps on. I guess i don't really know what else to say. I had a good winter break.

Zombies!!!

So in the zombies game we played you get a game piece. The game piece is a guy holding a shotgun. They come in different colors like black, red, green, etc. You place your person on the town square map tile. That's the first development of the game. At the beginning of each turn you have to place down another map tile. Some tiles have buildings in which you put zombies on and life tokens and bullet tokens. You start out with three hearts and bullets. The order of operations of your turn goes something like this. 1. place a map tile 2. combat any zombies on your space 3. draw up to three event cards if you have less than three 4. make a movement roll 5. make a zombie movement roll 6. discard one card if you wish. Then after that the game moves clockwise around the table. You may use a card at any time during the game to help yourself or hurt someone else. You may only use one a round. So when the beginning of your turn comes, then you can use another one. When combating a zombie, you have to roll a 4, 5, or 6 to beat it. If you roll a 1, 2, or 3 then you can either use a bullets to boost your roll or choose to loose a heart and try to beat it again. If and when you kill a zombie, it becomes yours. You must combat a zombie if you move into one during the movement phase. If you lose all your lives then you lose half of your zombies rounded down and you move back to the town center and get 3 hearts and 3 bullets like in the beginning. The goal of the game is to either get to the center of the helipad map piece, or to collect 25 zombies. The helipad is placed at the bottom of the map tile deck. There are also expansions to this game and different versions. It is a super fun game and we all just love it. So have fun if you decide to play Zombies!!!

New Years Day

So yesterday my family went to the 10k run. My brother is a runner and actually a great runner so he ran his second 10k and the first one was at Universal Studios i think. He ran that in about 48 minutes which is really fast. The second one which was yesterday he ran in about 58 minutes. But this one had lots of hills. The bikers probably went slower up the hills than the runners. They were pretty steep. The first person came in about 42 minutes but this guy was pretty hardcore. It was crazy. So after that we went to the beach to meet up with friends and so the polar bear swim. The water was super cold but the sun was out so it was okay. My legs actually went numb in the water. That's how cold it was. So after all that we went to our friend's party which was at her house. It was a fun party. We did all this last year as well. So we knew they had a wii so we brought our wii controllers. We played their summer sports game which we don't have. We also played a game called Zombies. The goal is to get the heli pad. Ill probably explain the game in a whole post because it is a pretty big game. I won that this year and we also played Settlers of Catan with my new expansion that i got for Christmas. I also won that so i was a double winner that night. It was awesome. I ate SO much though and my stomach hurt pretty badly. But i wanted to eat more of the junk they had. It was good food. I also ate a McDonald's cheese burger on the way home. My stomach also hurt today. It was pretty late when we got home. So apparently i fell asleep in the car singing. That's pretty funny. But i still had a great time.

Netbook

I am using my mom's new netbook (small laptop) to post this right now. My dad got it for her for Christmas. It is super small and light. I'm not too fond of the keyboard though. Well i do actually really like the keyboard but when i want to press the backspace its too high up and small so it keeps pressing the equal sign, and it is super annoying. But i am actually using my dad's Droid phone to get Internet and its actually working. Its super convenient. Its wireless network everywhere! The netbook is a shiny blue. Not like a sparkly girly blue but its looks like a brand new shiny blue because it is. It is just so convenient. My dad says it costs about $250. I think that's a great price. He says it came with an accessory kit. The company is acer. So check it out online maybe, its awesome.
